TikTok gives 4 months of Apple Music to new users

Apple is becoming more and more active in its Apple Music marketing strategies by partnering with TikTok to offer 4 months of free Apple Music use in a new special offer.

According to AppleInsider, this came not long after Shazam offered up to five months of free Apple Music subscriptions to new users. Deals with TikTok reported by Apple Post said Apple is running a new campaign on TikTok offering a free 4-month trial of Apple Music to users who sign up through the TikTok app on iOS. The ad promotes Apple Music playlists with viral music from TikTok and then offers a free trial period to users.

Specifically, when using TikTok, users will receive the message: “Check out the all-new official TikTok playlists. Get four months free of Apple Music on us, to start listening. Redeem now. Four months free for new memberships only ”.

Free Usage Offer must be redeemed for a valid Apple ID with the registered payment method as Apple says a paid subscription will be charged automatically at the end of the trial period. According to the Apple Post, TikTok is also promoting Apple Music offers through in-app notifications.

It is not clear whether there is a way to force Apple Music ads to be displayed in the TikTok app for deals, or if users will be chosen at random. It is known that this campaign will last until January 1.2021 and take effect in a number of different countries.
