What’s the difference between the A15 Bionic chip on the iPhone 14?

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are expected to be equipped with the A15 Bionic chip, but this is a version that brings a difference compared to the chip found on last year’s iPhone 13 series.

According to MacRumors, the A15 Bionic on the iPhone 14 will come with a 5-core GPU to improve graphics performance up to 25% faster than the A15 Bionic on the iPhone 13, which comes with a 4-core GPU. Improved graphics performance is the only change of the new chip as it still comes with the same 6-core CPU and 16-core NPU as its predecessor.

Previously, analyst Ming-chi Kuo said that only iPhone 14 Pro models will be upgraded to A16 Bionic to provide faster CPU performance. This will be the first time Apple has limited its latest chip to the Pro models, which makes for a bigger difference between the standard and Pro models.

Apple is expected to introduce iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max in a special event called Far Out at the Steve Jobs Theater at dawn on 8.9 Vietnam time. The product will bring many new features expected to come to the Pro models, including the Always On and the round punch + pill to replace the current notch. It also has an upgraded 48MP ultra-wide camera, faster RAM
