Apple has recently entered the field of artificial intelligence (AI) with the introduction of Apple Intelligence at the WWDC 2024. This move is similar to Samsung’s Galaxy AI and Google’s Gemini. However, not all iPhone models are compatible with Apple Intelligence due to hardware limitations. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max support on-device AI features due to the A17 Pro chip.
As the launch of the iPhone 16 approaches, it is anticipated that more products will support Apple Intelligence, including the basic iPhone 16, expected to be equipped with the new A18 chip. This will extend the reach of Apple Intelligence to a wider range of Apple devices.
For users who wish to access Apple Intelligence without purchasing the expensive iPhone 15 Pro, iPads, and Macs with M1 chips or higher are capable of utilizing the features of this new AI tool.
