The expected release date of Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation has been targeted for September of this year.
According to VGC, the sequel to the Spider-Man game on the PlayStation platform now has an expected release plan.
Specifically, Tony Todd, who plays Venom in the sequel to the game developed by Insomniac, has provided some information about the game’s release schedule. In revealing to a fan, he said that Spider-Man 2’s time to come to players seems to be in September of this year.
The release window announced by Tony is similar to other release reports that VGC has received. Previously in December 2022, developer Insomniac Games announced that Spider-Man 2 was scheduled for release this fall.
PlayStation’s September release for Spider-Man 2 will go head-to-head with Starfield Xbox’s much-anticipated, as the game was recently confirmed to launch on September 6. However, Todd’s announcement is still for reference only and may also be changed to avoid competition with Starfield.
Insomniac Games is also developing the Wolverine game for PS5. According to the studio, the game will be an indie title led by Brian Horton and Cameron Christian, the creators of Spider-Man: Miles Morales
