The mobile game Resident Evil Village of Capcom’s hit horror franchise is available on several Apple devices.
According to TechSpot, the highly anticipated mobile version of Resident Evil Village is now available on some new iPhones and iPads. But the game will have some things to keep in mind.
First, Resident Evil Village is only compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Pro, iPad Air with M1 chip or higher. The game is free to download and try, but players must pay extra to get the full experience. Resident Evil Village is priced at 39.99 USD for the base game and requires an additional 19.99 USD if fans want to play additional DLC.
However, there is some uncertainty about the game’s storage capacity. According to information from the App Store, on iPhone 15 Pro Max it says players will need at least 1.37 GB of storage, but in Capcom’s release notes, the company said the game has a capacity of about 16 GB.
Capcom also mentioned that while Resident Evil Village supports touch controls, the game is best experienced using a game controller. However, a keyboard and mouse will not be supported.
The Village looks to be the first game to truly take full advantage of the A17 Pro chip inside Apple’s new iPhone 15 Pro. Even if you’re not interested in Capcom’s survival horror series, the free trial on your iPhone or iPad is worth checking out, in the hopes of ushering in a new future for AAA gaming on mobile devices.
