The release date for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed again.
According to VGC, the Hogwarts Legacy version for older consoles such as PS4 and Xbox One has yet to arrive on time for fans. Accordingly, the original release schedule was given in April, but the latest announcement from Warner Bros. announced that the game will be out in May.
The announcement of the Hogwarts Legacy account on Twitter said: “We are extremely grateful for the feedback to Hogwarts Legacy from fans around the globe. The team is currently working hard to deliver the best possible experience on the Hogwarts Legacy. on all platforms and we need more time to do this. Hogwarts Legacy will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on May 5, 2023.
The PS5, Xbox Series, and PC versions of the game were all released on February 10. The Nintendo Switch version is currently scheduled for release on July 25.
Another game from Warner Bros. Gotham Knights has had older console versions canceled near the time of release, suggesting that game publishers may leave older consoles after Hogwarts Legacy is released.
Hogwarts Legacy has now sold over 12 million copies and grossed $850 million in worldwide sales in its first two weeks of release.
