With the Apple Watch Ultra being introduced on September 7, the technology world began to make predictions about the likely arrival of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 on September 8 of this year.

The latest report from Bloomberg expert Mark Gurman says that Apple is planning to introduce the Apple Watch Ultra 2 this fall, around the same time as the arrival of the next-generation iPhone series

With the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 later this year, Apple may be aiming to keep the launch cycle similar to regular watch models. The original Apple Watch Ultra launched last September, so September this year will be the perfect time for the arrival of the second-generation product.

However, previous rumors have indicated that Apple may take some time to perfect the second-generation Watch Ultra, which could push the product to market by at least another year. That’s entirely possible because the Apple Watch Ultra is not a standard product and Apple seems to be working on more advanced features of this product with a longer lead time.

Earlier, a report from Digitimes suggested the launch date of this product is 2024. The source said that the Watch Ultra 2 will come with a 2.1-inch screen – a significant upgrade compared to the previous year. The 1.92-inch screen on the first Watch Ultra. Not only the size, but Apple may also consider switching screen technology. Specifically, it will use a microLED panel instead of an OLED, and that could result in a brighter display with vibrant color rendering. Mr. Gurman also corroborated this information when he said that Apple has been expanding the use of microLED screens across its product lines, so it would be difficult to understand if the Watch Ultra 2 does not use this screen.

In addition, another reliable expert, Ross Young from DSCC, also said that the Apple Watch Ultra 2’s switch to a microLED screen could become a reality, but that will only happen in 2025
