Google Chrome is a widely popular web browser that has gained immense popularity due to its user-friendly nature and rich extension library. However, with the increase in cyber threats, additional protection is necessary. To meet this need, Google has recently launched Chrome Enterprise Premium, a browser specifically designed for businesses that offer advanced data security capabilities.

Chrome Enterprise Premium is a paid version that offers advanced security features beyond the free Chrome Enterprise Core version. Chrome Enterprise Core provides essential security features like automatic updates and centralized website access management across devices. It also protects against malware and phishing attempts and provides a basic level of protection.

On the other hand, Chrome Enterprise Premium offers advanced data loss prevention (DLP), allowing businesses to define and enforce policies that restrict the uploading or printing of sensitive data. It also includes in-depth malware scanning capabilities, limits add-ons and unauthorized software from being automatically installed when accessing the web, and minimizes the risks of hacking.

While Chrome Enterprise Premium caters to businesses, Google continues to prioritize user privacy by testing security features in the standard Chrome browser. These improvements provide users with limited access to sensitive data, such as microphone or location, and aim to protect user privacy.

For a fee of $6 per month, businesses can now subscribe to Chrome Enterprise Premium and get access to advanced security features that the Chrome Enterprise Core version does not offer.
