According to recent rumors, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to have a minimum storage capacity of 256 GB. This base storage capacity is expected to be a significant upgrade from the current iPhone 15 Pro, which has a base storage capacity of 128 GB. The goal of this change is to address the long-standing complaints of iPhone users about the limited storage capacity. Apple is planning to upgrade many internal components to improve performance while keeping the design similar to the current iPhone 15 series.

There are speculations that Apple may increase the price of the iPhone 16 Pro to compensate for the additional storage and other improvements. Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro costs 999 USD, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max costs 1,199 USD. However, the leaker suggested that Apple could increase the storage capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro but keep the price the same.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to have larger screen sizes of 6.27 inches and 6.86 inches, respectively, a new camera cluster, and upgraded internal components with better AI computing performance and graphics. These improvements are expected to make the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max a valuable upgrade compared to the current iPhone 15 series.
