The award-winning Hades game is coming to iOS as an exclusive game of the Netflix Gaming service.

According to VGC, the critically acclaimed game Hades by Supergiant Games is about to be available on iOS. The title will be available exclusively to Netflix’s gaming service, which offers a variety of mobile games to paying subscribers. As a result, anyone with a Netflix subscription can download Hades for iOS devices when the game launches.

The release date for the iOS version of Hades has not yet been confirmed, with Netflix only saying that the game “will be available exclusively on iOS through Netflix starting next year”.

Hades is one of the highest-rated games on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch, with a Metacritic rating of 93 across all platforms. The roguelike action role-playing game was originally released for PC and Switch in September 2020 and received rave reviews.

The game has won many prestigious awards since its release, including Best Indie Game and Best Action Game at The Game Awards, 5 awards at the DICE Awards (including Game of the Year), three awards at the Game Developers Choice Awards (including Game of the Year), and five awards at the BAFTAs (including Best Game).

The next Hades 2 was announced last December, with plans for early access for PC players to take place in the second quarter of 2024.

Netflix has continuously grown the company’s mobile game library, which currently numbers around 80 titles. Some of the most prominent names currently on the service are Football Manager 2024, Tomb Raider Reloaded, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Samurai Shodown, Oxenfree II, and Poinpy, all of which are critically acclaimed.
