Apple has just confirmed that it will hold one more event before 2023 ends. Called “Scary Fast”, this event will be held on October 30, just one day before Halloween.

According to The Verge, Apple has begun sending invitations to people to watch the “Scary Fast” event on the Apple.com website and YouTube at 5:00 p.m. October 30 (US time, or 7:00 a.m. October 31 Vietnam time). The invitation comes not long after rumors said Apple was preparing to reveal new versions of its Mac line

Apple’s event page shows an animation of the Apple logo transforming into a Finder icon, further reinforcing the possibility that a new Mac is coming. Earlier this week, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman reported that Apple may be planning a surprise event for a “Mac-focused product launch.”

Mr. Gurman said Apple may reveal a new 24-inch iMac, along with a new MacBook Pro. This report is based on data that the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros as well as the iMac have started to dry out – a sign that we could see new models appear soon.

Previous rumors said the new Macs could come with a new Apple M3 chip that provides stronger performance, and that was the basis for Apple to use the name “Scary Fast” for the event. Although Apple usually reveals new iPads in October, analyst Ming-chi Kuo said people won’t see any new iPad generations until next year.

With Apple’s next event less than a week away, users won’t have to wait too long to see what surprises the company has planned
