Microsoft has officially announced this, although it has not revealed the specific date, but according to a source on X of account @IdleSloth84_, this time may be January 15, 2024.

Besides GTA 5, two other famous names are also about to leave Xbox Game Pass: Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. These games will also be removed on January 15. Therefore, if you want to play these games, players will have nearly 2 weeks left to experience them.

This will be the third time Microsoft has removed GTA 5 from Xbox Game Pass. Previously, the company offered games on this paid service from January 2020 to May 2020 and from April 2021 to August 2021. The last time they added GTA 5 back to Xbox Game Pass was in July 2023 until now.

While Microsoft said goodbye to GTA 5, Sony recently welcomed this game to the PlayStation Plus service. This seems to be Rockstar Games’ alternating exclusivity strategy between the two leading game platforms today.

These moves took place right after Rockstar released the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), expected to be released in 2025. It seems that the company wants to ‘tease’ and heat the atmosphere. atmosphere before their masterpiece was officially revealed.
