Mac computers are about to have a collection of horror games ‘Layers of Fear’

Remakes of the ‘Layers of Fear’ games will have a big launch in June on all platforms.

According to Engadget, the collection of horror games Layers of Fear has an official release time on June 15 for many platforms, in particular, this launch includes Apple’s Mac computers.

However, the game will only come to Mac products using silicon chips made by Apple recently. Although limited, this shows that Apple is trying to push its ambitions into the video game segment

The upcoming collection will include full remakes of Layers of Fear and Layers of Fear 2, which include expansions (DLCs) for both titles and an original chapter just for this release.

The Layers of Fear remakes received a number of notable upgrades, whereby, each game was redesigned with the Unreal Engine 5 engine, giving players the most advanced graphical experience today. However, it is not yet known whether the Mac version will receive modern techniques such as Ray Tracing. Developer Bloober Team has stated that they have fully utilized Apple’s proprietary Metal 3 technology to develop the game.

Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said, “Apple’s Silicon has transformed Mac gaming to deliver incredible graphics performance, new capabilities, and outstanding battery life.”
