Sony revealed the PlayStation Plus Collection yesterday: a box set of 18 of the best PS4 games for free download on PS5, beginning November 19 and for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

While some titles have already been made free through PlayStation Plus on PS4, others are appearing for the first time.

Sony is expanding the catalog of games available at the launch of the PS5. By the way, these new games available for free come at the right time since the PS5 games will cost more than the PS4 games,

As a reminder, Microsoft will also offer Smart Delivery on its future consoles, a service that will allow you to play many Xbox One games on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, in improved version (4K @ 120 IPS). In the future, Sony is also expected to offer “100 of the best PS4 games” as upgraded versions on PS5 and available for free if you already own them. However, we don’t yet know if the games in the PlayStation Plus Collection will benefit from any graphics or performance improvements.

The Japanese manufacturer has also not clarified whether the PlayStation Plus Collection will be free for service subscribers or whether it will require additional payment. As a reminder, the price of the PlayStation Plus should remain the same, namely $59.99 per year. So far, Sony Interactive Entertainment has not mentioned any change in this price.

Last night, Sony also unveiled new PS5 game trailers, including some new releases like Final Fantasy XVI, God of War: Ragnarok or Hogwarts: Legacy and other games already known, like Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales.
