The most important new beginning probably happened recently at Rockstar Games. In fact, after 20 years of good and loyal service, Lazlow Jones is no longer part of the star company.

Last February, we were shocked to learn that the vice president and screenwriter of legendary Rockstar Games left the company. That’s why Dan Hauser left his brother Sam, who ran the company alone. Another turmoil seemed to continue internally when others left Rockstar after two decades of the studio’s legendary licensing.

The video game site Chronicle reports that Lazlow Jones is no longer part of Rockstar Games. If his name is not well known to the public, this producer and screenwriter have worked on Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne, Bully, and many others for 20 years. In particular, he’s directing the radio dialogue of the GTA saga.

In short, it is a true thinking head of Rockstar Games who goes to other horizons. Now, Jones explains working on several projects with Disney and Netflix. He also holds a consultant’s position for a video game studio (whose name has not been disclosed). It remains to be seen if this departure will have repercussions on the development of GTA VI.
