Warframe is coming to iOS next year

The iOS version of Warframe will also be cross-playable with other platforms.

According to Neowin, 2023 marked the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Warframe game. The free third-person sci-fi shooter from developer Digital Extremes has expanded beyond the PC platform and is now available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles in 2020.

But maybe things are about to change, when over the weekend, within the framework of Digital Extremes’ TennCon 2023 fan event, the developer announced that cross-platform saving is in development and expected to be added to Warframe before the end of 2023.

Not stopping there, Digital Extremes also announced that the mobile version of Warframe devices will be available on iOS in 2024. The developer claims that the mobile version will also have the full range of experiences like calculators. cross-platform play and cross-save with PC and Console versions.

iOS players can pre-register for the game in the iOS app store with some worthwhile rewards. However, there is currently no word on whether the game will land on Android devices in the future.

Finally, another major content update is coming in 2024. It’s called Warframe: 1999, and the update’s short clip shows that it takes place in a weird timeline set on Christmas Eve
