Google Chrome
Google Chrome is an internet browser developed by Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet and a leader in the field of online search. It was designed to provide a fast and intuitive user experience. The browser uses the Blink rendering engine, which is known for its high performance and is a branch of WebKit, also used by Safari. It offers exceptional performance thanks to support for V8, a JavaScript engine, as well as HTML 5. As of December 2022, Google Chrome is the most widely used web browser in the world, with over 66 % market share.
Like other web browsers, Google Chrome includes basic browser features, such as “Back”, “Next”, and “Refresh” buttons, history, bookmarks, toolbar, and settings. Like other browsers, Chrome also includes an incognito mode, which allows you to browse privately without your history, cookies, or site data being tracked. It also includes an extensive library of plugins and extensions.
The current version of Google Chrome complies with more web standards than any other browser, and a frequent update cycle means that security issues and other bugs are quickly ironed out. This update cycle also offers Google the opportunity to add numerous features to its browser such as a PiP (Picture-in-Picture) mode or to review its interface with, for example, a redesign of the downloads menu in the last version
