EA’s ‘Black Panther’ blockbuster will have an open world breakthrough

According to Gaming Bolt , EA recently confirmed that a newly formed game studio called Cliffhanger Games is currently developing a single game Black Panther , details about this title are still very few, as the project is still in the early stages of production.

Following this announcement, Cliffhanger Games also posted some job ads on LinkedIn with some details about the game they are developing

Accordingly, the recruitment list is looking for the position of “Senior Game Designer”, which suggests that Black Panther will be an open world game, in line with the leaked news before the official announcement. The person in charge of this role will be tasked with making the game world more vivid and rich, the work will focus on the design and structure of the game world.

Meanwhile, although EA has officially announced the Black Panther game as an action-adventure experience, the job posting for the position of “Software Engineer” describes it as an action RPG.

The job posting also mentions a highly innovative new system called Open Story. Finally, the “Senior Software Engineer” position also indicates that the game is being built on Unreal Engine 5 .

While in the past games developed by EA’s in-house studios used to use the company’s in-house Frostbite engine to develop projects, this has changed in recent years, with games like the next Mass Effect game and Motive Studio’s Iron Man also being built on Engine Unreal 5
