A strange bug has occurred in the Twitter app for iOS in the last few days. Apparently, the bug primarily affects iOS 15 users, and Twitter has confirmed that it’s being investigated. In an update shared on Wednesday, November 24, the Twitter support team confirmed that they are investigating the issue:
“We are investigating a bug that causes unexpected disconnections on iOS 15. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we will keep you informed of the solution provided”.
Responses to the tweet posted yesterday by the Twitter helpdesk show that the bug is impacting a large number of users, many of whom say they experience random disconnections “several” or more times a day.
Details on the extent of this bug are unclear, but it appears to affect people using the Twitter app for iOS on iOS 15. Users say they are logged out of their accounts several times a day without explanation.
In particular, the bug seems to affect all of a user’s accounts. For example, if you have multiple Twitter accounts, this bug will randomly and repeatedly log you out of all of your accounts.
